Do you ever feel like you need a day to catch up on life, and then a day after that to just relax with a book in bed? Last week I spent 3 of my 5 weekday nights at my kids’ school events. WHEW.
What I appreciated though, was that I got to meet their teachers, and I LOVED seeing them talk about supporting the students as humans and using concepts like the learning zone.
I actually talk about all three of these in my online program, Next Level You! (You can sign up for that course here.)
One of the parents walked out of the third-grade classroom saying he felt like HE wanted to sign up for a mindfulness class after hearing the teacher talk about the benefits for the kids.
I’m curious. Does your workplace talk about mindfulness, growth mindset, and/or the learning zone? How about your kids’ schools?
These aren’t rhetorical questions; I really want to know! I spend my days reading and teaching about topics like this, so I don’t have the lens to know if this is now common knowledge.
Want to know more about these topics? Here are two of my favorite videos:
And here’s a slide I have in Next Level You with a visual of our learning zone!
