Wanna hang out the weekend of April 25th? My new friend, Kelsey, is hosting her Burnout Relief Wellness Retreat on a beautiful, peaceful property outside Seattle, The Lodge at St. Edward:
This is actually where I spent my birthday last year with two of my friends, and I’m so excited one of those friends is flying back in town to attend the retreat too!
Anyway, let me take a step back.
You know how I set “more networking” as one of my 2025 goals?
Well, at one of the first networking events I attended in person this year, we were introducing ourselves around a room of 40+ people, and one woman immediately stood out as THE person I wanted to connect with. (Side note: always go into networking events with a clear goal to maximize your experience!)
So, Kelsey introduced herself as a mental health therapist AND a wellness travel planner, and in addition to her bubbly introduction, I knew our work was complementary.
She’s a therapist who helps people unpack and work through trauma, and I teach what I call “wellbeing bandaids”—tools you can use in as little as one minute to support your nervous system in the moment. Because as we all know, sometimes we think we need a week-long vacation on the beach, coconut in hand, to reset, but all we have is five minutes before our next meeting. That’s where wellbeing bandaids come in.
Anyway, Kelsey and I had a virtual coffee chat, which quickly turned into an IRL meeting, and when I learned about her Burnout Relief Wellness Retreat, I knew I wanted to attend.
Daily yoga, a sound bath, forest bathing? Kelsey was speaking my love language.
The retreat is limited to just 12 women, to keep the vibe for meaningful connection with each other and focused care from the leaders.
Three things that made Kelsey’s retreat stand out to me:
And not only do I get to attend as a participant, I also get to lead a special version of my Vision Board Workshop to close out the experience!
Typically, I teach my Ultimate Vision Board Workshop online, leading you to create a digital version of your dream board, but since this retreat is all about unplugging, we’re doing a special in-person version where you’ll be guided through exercises to help you gain clarity on your goals and dreams—not what your parents want, not what society says success looks like, not what an Instagram influencer tells you should matter, and not even what a past version of you wanted. (Did you catch last week’s Tea Time note about The End of History Illusion? It’s the idea that we underestimate how much we’ll change in the future. You can catch-up here if you missed it.)
In my workshop, you’re going to get specific on 10 different areas of your life, so when you do sit down to create your vision board, the process will feel effortless and aligned.
By the way, I’m not an affiliate for Kelsey; I don’t get a penny if you join. I’m sharing because I’ve had so many women in my circles tell me they’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, and lonely right now, and this retreat is designed to offer both a reset and a community of like-minded women.
So, if this sounds like exactly what you need too, you can check out the details and register below.
Let me know if you sign up! I’d love to see you there.
