Vision Board vs. Bingo Card

As we kick off 2025, you’re probably seeing a lot of “New Year, New You” hype. Maybe you’re setting resolutions, choosing a word of the year, or maybe even creating a vision board. You know I’m a big fan of vision boards, right?! This is me leading a vision board workshop last week:

But have you heard of a 2025 Bingo Card?

It’s a fun, fresh way to set intentions for the year, and it works beautifully alongside your big-picture vision board. Here’s the difference:

Vision Board: Think BIG DREAMS. This is where you visualize your ideal life, no matter how far-fetched it seems right now. Travel to 100 countries? Write a book? Buy your dream house? It all goes on the vision board. This is about deep-seated passions and short-or-long-term goals.

2025 Bingo Card: This is about ACTIONABLE GOALS for this year. Think smaller, more concrete steps that move you closer to your vision. Some ideas for your card could be:

  • Read 20 books.
  • Have a monthly self-care day.
  • Try a new recipe once a month.
  • Learn a new skill (coding, photography, etc.).
  • Go on a weekend getaway.
  • Reconnect with an old friend.
  • Finally organize that closet!
  • Pay off a credit card.
  • Attend a local networking event.

See the difference? Your vision board is about capturing the feeling of your dream life. It’s about inspiration, expansive thinking, and allowing yourself to dream big, no matter if that dream happens tomorrow or in years. Your bingo card is more about action and achievement. It’s a playful way to set concrete goals and track your progress throughout the year.

Want to create your own 2025 Bingo Card? I’m thinking of creating a fun, customizable template to make it super easy. Would you be interested? Leave a reply below and let me know.
