My name is Nicole Bensen; I’m an advocate for happiness and wellbeing, and I’m delighted you’re here. After spending nearly a decade at Google, where I ultimately managed the wellbeing program for executive women leaders, I ironically experienced burnout myself. 

I founded Tentacles and Tea to transform dry, research studies into vibrant, interactive experiences designed for wellbeing and connection—aka, science-backed ways to be happier. 

(And, no, I’m not a meditation expert; I still have champagne taste, and btw, research shows that wanting to be happy is not a selfish or bad thing. In fact, happier people are more likely to help others!)

I’m here to encourage you to set boundaries, to offer yourself compassion, to do things that make you happy, and to use your strengths to achieve your dreams—whether your dream is to volunteer full time, learn French, or use your private jet more often.
